Deana Perlee
Deana Perlee comes to McCurdy Real Estate group with a wide range of experience and an enthusiasm for real estate that truly sets her apart, which is why there’s no surprise email handle is “Special Agent Deana”
Previously, Deana managed real estate closings, estates and family court matters while working as a legal secretary. Through this experience, she learned that every client is special and each client’s needs are unique, even if the end goal is the same. She also worked as a customer service manager for a large local chain. There, she was promoted quickly due to her ability to learn quickly and work with numbers as easily as she works with people. She has degrees in Political Science and Music Education from SUNY Plattsburgh and Valdosta State University.
Deana is not only a lifetime learner, but also an educator through and through. She takes time to make sure her clients are well informed and understand the process, which is often half the battle in real estate. She is patient and helpful and strives to be a resource for her clients during this important time in their lives.
Growing up, Deana’s family instilled in her the value of hard work and a love of homes. Her father taught her how to install sheetrock and clean a chimney, while her mother taught her how to tend the flowers and the importance of a functional kitchen. These early influences made her excited about houses and eager to get her hands dirty if necessary. (Deana likes to note that her favorite stores have lumber aisles, plumbing supplies, and large paint sections.)
Deana resides in Niskayuna, NY with her husband, David, her two beautiful girls, Mary and Leslie, her mother, Doria, and of course, their Chocolate Lab, Addie. When she is not busy helping people find their new neighborhoods and saying goodbye to their old ones, she likes to read, workout, watch movies, sing, spend time in the backyard, and win or loose, watch the NY Giants duke it out on the gridiron!
